Machine Protection Fencing

WDM machine protection grids work everywhere

Machine protection grids are silent heroes of our everyday life. Most importantly, they provide the highest level of safety on a daily basis. This is why modern mechanical engineering is concerned with precision and quality, especially when it comes to technology. Our protective grids for machines are constantly meeting this high responsibility. In order to ensure an optimal work process, extensive safety measures are necessary at certain groups for the machine construction lattice.

We are supplier of wire mesh for machine protection

The term “machine protection grid” is to be understood in a twofold sense: On the one hand, the physical well-being of the human being is of the utmost importance, as machine protection grids guarantee minimum distances to elements with potential hazards, as regulated in the Machinery Directive 2006/42 / EC. This prescribes a separating protective device with a lock in the corresponding case. On the other hand, it is also necessary to secure the machine itself by protective fences and protective grids to ensure a long service life.

Further basis for this are regulations such as safety distances according to DIN EN ISO 13857 and minimum distances according to DIN EN 349. These can be ideally implemented with WDM machine protection grids. No matter whether it is 100 mm or 2200 mm, you can determine what you need. This also applies to small mesh widths of 30 x 50 mm against human penetration. As a result, flexible extensions can also be made. The result is a very comprehensive range of products with many small solutions and custom-made products.
